VOB Finder is operated by Starin Solutions LLC (“VOB Finder,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through vobfinder.com, how we use it, when we may share it, and the choices available to visitors, business owners, and listing submitters.

Information We Collect

• Information you provide, including your name, business name, email address, telephone number, mailing or service-area information, website, social links, business description, voluntarily supplied military-service information, and other listing details.
• Listing activity, including submissions, claims, corrections, approvals, payment confirmations, publication status, support requests, complaints, and communications.
• Technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location, and timestamps.
• Directory activity, including searches, keywords, categories, states, ZIP or radius searches, map selections, profile views, and outbound-link clicks.
• Location information when you choose to use a feature such as “Near Me.” Your browser or device may request permission before sharing precise location information.
• Cookies and similar technologies used for essential site functions, preferences, security, analytics, and any future advertising measurement.

How We Use Information

• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve VOB Finder.

How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, maintain, or communicate through the site. We may also disclose information when required by law, to investigate suspected fraud or misuse, in connection with a business transfer, or with your consent. Public listing information is displayed as part of the directory service.

VOB Finder does not sell personal information for money. If we later use technology legally treated as “selling,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, we will provide any notice and opt-out mechanism required by applicable law.

Public Listing Information

Information submitted for publication may become publicly visible and may be indexed by search engines. Do not submit personal information that you do not want displayed publicly. Home-based businesses should use a service area, mailing address, or another appropriate contact method when a residential address should remain private.

Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies, local storage, server logs, and analytics tools to keep the site functioning, remember preferences, understand traffic, measure searches and listing interactions, and improve the directory. Available controls are described on the Cookie Preferences page.

Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children

VOB Finder is intended for adults and businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

Third-Party Links

Business listings may link to third-party websites, social networks, maps, payment services, or other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

VOB Meta Bridge Chrome Extension

The VOB Meta Bridge Chrome extension helps VOB Finder listing owners transfer marketing creatives generated through Meta AI directly into the correct VOB Finder Creative Asset Library.

When the extension is used, it may temporarily process and store:

• The VOB Finder creative request ID.
• The associated VOB Finder business listing ID.
• A secure bridge authorization token.
• The creative asset name.
• The Meta AI-generated image selected by the user for transfer.

The extension accesses the active VOB Finder or Meta AI page only when the user explicitly activates the extension. The stored request context is used only to route the selected creative to the correct VOB Finder listing and is removed after a successful transfer.

VOB Meta Bridge does not collect browsing history, monitor user activity across unrelated websites, collect passwords or payment information, sell user data, use user data for unrelated purposes, or execute remotely hosted code. All executable extension code is packaged with the extension.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date.
